Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between Mealbeep LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States (“MealBeep”, “we”, “us”), and the business that signs up to use MealBeep (“you”, the “restaurant”). By creating an account or using MealBeep, you agree to these terms. If you use MealBeep for a business, you confirm you're allowed to agree for it.
Customers ordering food from a restaurant: your order is with the restaurant, not with MealBeep. The restaurant is responsible for the food, prices, delivery and refunds. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. What MealBeep is
MealBeep is software for restaurants: a POS, kitchen screen, online ordering website, table bookings, driver app, dashboard, reports, and marketing tools (texts, links and QR codes, reviews, social posts, ad tracking). Features may change over time as we improve the service.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep log-ins and PINs secret. You're responsible for what happens under your account and your staff's log-ins.
- Only give staff the access they need, and remove people who no longer work for you.
- Tell us straight away at info@mealbeep.com if you think your account has been misused.
3. Fees and payment
- You pay the subscription and other fees shown in your plan or in the Dashboard, in the currency shown (Australian dollars unless agreed otherwise), plus any taxes that apply.
- A service fee may apply to online orders, shown at checkout.
- Message credit (for texts) is paid in advance and used as messages are sent. Messages are charged when sent, even if a phone network doesn't deliver them.
- Card payments and payouts are handled by Stripe, under Stripe's own terms. Stripe's fees and payout timing apply.
- We may change our prices with at least 30 days' notice. If you don't agree, you can stop using MealBeep before the change.
- If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it's paid.
4. Your responsibilities as a restaurant
- Your menu, prices and content: you're responsible for your menu, prices, allergen and dietary information, taxes, photos, logos and anything else you add. Only use photos and content you own or have permission to use.
- Your orders and customers: you're responsible for preparing and delivering orders, food safety, refunds and customer service.
- Laws: you must follow the laws that apply to your business, including food, consumer, tax, privacy and marketing laws.
- Customer information: use customers' details only to serve them and for marketing they agreed to, and keep devices running MealBeep secure.
5. Marketing texts
- Only send marketing texts to people who agreed to get them. If you upload a list, you confirm everyone on it agreed, and you keep proof of that.
- Don't send misleading, offensive or illegal messages. Every marketing text includes your restaurant's name and an opt-out link, and MealBeep never texts people who opted out.
- Sender names and numbers need approval by MealBeep and, in some countries, phone networks or regulators. We may pause texts that break these terms or the law.
6. Facebook and Instagram
- If you connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account, you allow MealBeep to publish the posts and stories you create or schedule in MealBeep. MealBeep only posts what you ask it to.
- You must have the right to manage the Page and account you connect, and your posts must follow Meta's Community Standards and the law.
- Facebook and Instagram are run by Meta, not MealBeep. We can't control whether Meta accepts, shows, limits or removes a post or an account, and we're not responsible for Meta's decisions or outages.
- You can disconnect at any time in Dashboard › Marketing › Social posts.
7. Ad tracking
If you add Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads or TikTok Pixel IDs to your website, you're responsible for using those tools lawfully, including asking customers for consent where required. MealBeep shows a consent notice by default.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use MealBeep to break the law, send spam, harm others, upload viruses, try to get into other people's accounts or data, copy or resell MealBeep, or overload our systems.
9. Third-party services
MealBeep works with other companies' services, such as Stripe, Twilio, Google Maps, Meta and delivery partners. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we're not responsible for their services.
10. Your data and our software
- You own your restaurant's data and content. You allow us to use it to provide and improve MealBeep, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- MealBeep, its software, designs and templates belong to Mealbeep LLC. We give you a right to use them while you use MealBeep. Posters and posts you create with our templates are yours to use for your restaurant.
11. Availability
We work to keep MealBeep running smoothly and backed up, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your POS devices charged and connected, and have a back-up way to take orders. Planned maintenance will be done at quiet times where possible.
12. Ending your account
- You can stop using MealBeep at any time by emailing info@mealbeep.com.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, doesn't pay, or puts others at risk. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first.
- When an account closes, you can ask for a copy of your data within 30 days. After that, we delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.
13. Liability
To the extent the law allows: MealBeep is provided “as is”; we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data; and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be excluded, such as the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
You agree to cover us for claims caused by your content, your products, or your breach of these terms or the law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and tell you about important changes at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using MealBeep after that, the new terms apply.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the US state where Mealbeep LLC is registered, unless the law of your country gives you rights that can't be excluded. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to sort it out.
